Wheat Kings
Brandon - GM Karnes has taken some time to relax after a busy year in Brandon.
The SICHL Wheat Kings had a very good playoff run, beating the Golden Bears and falling just short against the Express. The team spirit is high and the players are heading off home for the off season in good spirits.
Also in May the junior Wheat Kings played host to the Memorial Cup. A very good week of junior hockey that saw the junior WK's playing the Windsor Spitfires in the finals.
I'm heading out golfing for the next few weeks. Good luck to the remaining teams in the playoffs.
