2.5 Dispersion Draft

In the event that more than one General Manager forfeits their membership in the SICHL in one off-season, the assets for their franchises will be pooled and dispersed by the league to replacement General Managers.

2.5.1 Dispersion Draft Format

The Dispersion Draft will follow a "snaking" format, meaning that the team that drafts last in odd-numbered rounds will draft first in even-numbered rounds.

All non-UFA players and prospects are eligible to be drafted by the new franchises. The draft picks for each dissolved team are collected as one "asset", and each of the new teams must use one of their dispersion draft selections to select one (and only one) of the dissolved teams' draft picks during the Dispersion Draft (i.e. they will receive ALL picks from that team).

The positive cash balance of each of the dissolved teams will be pooled and evenly distributed among the new teams. Additional funds may be given to the new teams at the discretion of the Commissioner.
