Norsemen to face a weaken and injured Mustangs team. While Van Island rested , the Mustangs fought their way into the Canadian final , beating Huskies in seven hard fought games. Norsemen to get up early and win in six. Son in .

Matt vs. Matt, there can be only one! Burchy will the our Highlander on the strength of superior goaltending, but it's going to be another brutally long series. Predictions aside, I'm sure we'll all eager to see the creative new ways the sim can screw over MacInnis.

I see the father and son matchup coming. It is inevitable. Vader vs Luke, Homer vs Bart, Geppetto and Pinocchio, and more! Norsemen vs Cougars. Book it!

The Norsemen have much more forward depth but a banged up defence which was average to begin with. Meanwhile, Calgary is getting amazing goaltending and enough scoring to get the job done.

Norsemen...its their year! Finally And selfishly I want it to be so that they layoff and give me a chance in future years.

Tough series to call, as the Mustangs have what it takes to upset a very deep Norsemen team who's finally broken through to play to potential come the postseason. Quick evens out the goaltending matchup that Bishop's won the last few rounds, and I think that's the difference here.

I'm on a roll, so I'll be gutsy and give myself 2 wins.

Sure the Mustangs won the regular season series 4-1, and sure we're missing two of our best players for most/all of this playoff series...but I believe. Hoping third time is the charm for the Norsemen to get out of the Canadian Conference finals.

These Mustangs just won't quit or give up. This series could come down to a goaltending battle and although the Norsemen have two solid options in net I see the Bishop and the Mustangs coming out of this series. Although I have been wrong in the past and won't be surprised if I'm wrong here, I mean eventually Getzlaf has to get going right?

While the Mustangs are a resilient group, supported by shrewd mid-season acquisition Jarome Iginla, I think the Norsemen have finally put it all together. Depth at every position, including the unlikely tag team in goal, give Matt the options he needs to figure it out over a seven game series.

Tough series to pick a winner. Calgary is hot. Will Keith be back in time to make a difference? Bishop will steal the show again.
  • Sean Gallagher

Calgary has never been past the first round before this year, and here they are. The Norsemen find new ways to get hurt and whatnot every series. I think both teams' luck continue this time, too.
