Okay Doug, I am genuinely baffled at how you managed to sneak into the playoffs AGAIN. Ottawa's way too good, time for the Wheaties to come back to earth (despite winning the season series 2-1, hrm...)

The Slamwagon will roll through round 1. Team is too deep to lose to the Wheat Kings. Slammers in 5.

Ottawa is superior up front, on defence and in net. We've seen crazy, unexpected upsets before but I can't predict that here. Ottawa in a short series.
  • Henry Skey

Ottawa's team is more experienced and was on fire the whole season. Brandon always finds a way to exceed expectations, but won't find success here.
  • Jeff Prozeller

The wheat kings always seem to sneak in the playoffs and do some damage but I don't think they matchup well against the might Slammers.
  • Kasim Husain

Brandon somehow finds a way to be in the playoff conversation every year. But the stingy Slammers (fewest GA in the league) are going to make short work of a Wheat Kings squad lacking in gamebreakers.

The Slamwaggon2017 won't have an easy time with the pesky Wheaties, but they will pull this one out.

The Slammers are considerably better than the Wheaties. Should be a boot stomping good time...for Pat.

Well there won't be a lot of penalties in this series, which is probably a good thing looking the powerplays of each team! Season series was close and Pat's Slammers have struggled of late. But he traded for Joe Thornton. Therefore, the Slammers take this one.

The Wheat Kings once again qualify for the post-season with a sneaky good team. Every year, the question is the same: how do they do it without drafting? Ottawa, meanwhile, surprises nobody with a team that seems built for the playoffs. Probably the most interesting thing about this matchup is that, owing to SICHL GMs uncanny ability to see 1 year into the future, the Wheaties seem primed to have breakout seasons from Gagner, Eaves and Justin Schultz NEXT year. But as for the job at hand, I think Pat's Slammers take it.

Kings over-performed, Slammers will dominate them, The playoffs are cruel.

It's the Elliot and Karlsson show! It's the Elliot and Karlsson show! Come on you two don't blowwwwwww! Or out of the playoffs we'll Goooooooo!

Ottawa allows Brandon to win one game just so they can generate more playoff revenue.
