Anyone else getting this error message when trying to update rosters? (This is after clicking the "do you want to do the FTP thing):

Note: After a lot of research, I came to the conclusion that I’m unable to support the FTP option for the STHS users. There are 7 different standards (RFC) for FTP. My implementation in the STHS is based on the Microsoft .Net Framework. On the Internet, some FTP servers were created based on 7 different standards. Various compatibility issues exist between them. It’s only normal that some implementations are not compatible with the Microsoft .Net Framework. Sadly, if your FTP server is incompatible with the implement of the STHS, you’ll won't be able to use these options.

I was having this same problem last year. I was able to fix it through my Norton settings.

Tried again just now with the new Sept 12th roster update. Same error messages. Also notice that as I move guys from the farm to pro roster the boxes for "copy roster" don't light up so I can't set for Day 1-10 like normal.

Same for others?

If you had these issues and found a way to fix, please let me know exactly what you did.

Yes same here. I tried with the new version of the client and still got the same message. I used 3 different computers from which it worked last year no problem....but this year no go.  Huh

I think it has to do with the fact we all have unsigned RFA's.  Wait until free agency is over before you load the client file.....all will be fine then.

Given the lack of an official response, I'll try my best:

  • There's a chance that when Mark upgraded to the new version of the sim, the FTP settings didn't port over, so he may need to update those.
  • As the copious amount of gifs on the homepage would indicate, you're all very eager to start free agency. The same guy has to do both jobs.


This is certainly an issue, so it's good that it's been identified, but I would not expect a solution until we're in the middle of free agency (Jeff will be tabulating the bids once Mark gets things kicked off).
